Two weeks since the Ethiopian federal forces took control of Mikelle ,the regional capital of Tigray..Doctors working across the region is now accounting for dire shortages of medicines and medical equipment , threats of real starvation and wide spread of conflict .

The fighting that began last month between the government troops and the forces loyal to the regional Tigray people's Liberation Front is thought to have killed thousands of people and forced out millions to the neighboring countries .

Despite the seizure of the capital Mikelle ,the fighting seems far to the end as TPLF are still fighting back and claiming no defeat at all .

In the last two weeks Ethiopian government has grant little humanitarian corridor for Red to access the region but with full restriction to some areas where there might be people seized by the conflict and genocide being committed by either both side or one side .

Until now communication lines ,Internet and power is extremely shut off ,quiet challenging to verify information on the ground in the statement by the red cross .
