China is facing a massive power crisis these days. There are massive power cuts in cities to meet the energy needs of public sector undertakings. Due to this factories have to be closed and many cities have been plunged into darkness.


It is believed that if China does not get rid of this crisis soon, then the hopes of people waiting to buy smartphones and other gadgets during Christmas around the world may be dashed. According to a report by China’s state-run TV channel CCTV, a power outage at a metal factory in Liaoyang city, located in the northeast of China, caused the AC to shut down. It is being told that due to this poisonous gas spread in the factory and 23 workers became ill due to this. He was admitted to the hospital in serious condition. Thankfully no employee died.

At the same time, according to a supplier that manufactures parts for Apple iPhone mobiles, it had to stop work at its factory in Shanghai after authorities expressed inability to supply power due to power crisis and asked to stop work. Apart from Christmas and New Year around the world, in India this is the time for shopping for festivals. At such a time, this time is considered to be the busiest for the factories of China, but due to the power crisis these days people are sitting empty and factories are locked. This economic loss of China can affect the world market.
