At least 100 people have been killed in western Ethiopia in a deadly ethnic lineage attacks according to Human right commission and the toll is expected to rise .
The attack in the Metekel zone of Benishangul Gumuz region occured a day after prime minister Abiy Ahmed visited the area and spoke about the need to ends such massacre . Ethiopia is grappling with the ethnic clinging tension as PM Abiy Ahmed is trying to promote national unity in the country with more than 80 ethnic groups .
This attack is separate from the deadly on going conflict in the northern Tigray region where the Ethiopian forces and allies are facing off with the Tigray people liberation front which has forced out millions of people from their homes that started in November .
In the remote villages,There is growing fear after Wednesday attacks .
